First-Time Chili Bowl Winner In 2023?

They call it the "Super Bowl of Midget Racing." Next week, more than 300 drivers will make their way to Tulsa, Oklahoma with hopes of claiming the coveted Golden Driller trophy at the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals.

This year, the door may be open for a new driver to enter the history books as a Chili Bowl winner. With Kyle Larson choosing to race a dirt late model at the Wild West Shootout and Christopher Bell not currently entered for the event, the drivers who have won five of the last six driller trophies will not be in attendance.

Defending winner Tanner Thorson, two-time winner Rico Abreu, five-time winner Sammy Swindell and 2006 winner Tim McCreadie are the four former winners currently entered.

On this week's edition of Haley's Hot Topics on FloRacing, we want to know if you believe there will be a new Chili Bowl winner in 2023. Vote in our poll below and use #HaleysHotTopics on social media to let us know who you think that winner may be!
