While all eyes were on Darrell Lanigan after sweeping his World 100 preliminary races on back-to-back nights, it was Jonathan Davenport who stole the show by winning the 47th running of the $50,000-to-win feature event at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, on Saturday.

Davenport started third in the feature after winning his heat -- beating Tim McCreadie and Dennis Erb Jr. in the process. Davenport elbowed his way by the front row of Gregg Satterlee and pole sitter Hudson O'Neal to lead the first lap.

And then 99 more after that.

Despite starting on the second row, the driver of the No. 49 led the feature flag-to-flag, withstanding six cautions and restarts.

Satterlee, while never having enough speed to make a run on the leader, held onto second.

Mike Marlar finished third after starting position behind in fifth to complete the podium.

This win further shows the pendulum swing of Davenport's season that started when he switched cars and chassis providers earlier this summer. Winning the $50,000 crown jewel event will help cement the team's future as it finishes a successful second half of the season.

This was Davenport's second big win in the past week. He grabbed the prestigious Hillbilly 100 victory on Sept. 2.

In the 100-lap feature, Dale McDowell muscled his way into the fourth after starting 21 spots back in 25th.

Lanigan had to settle for the last spot in the top five, coming off a pair of 25-lap, $10,000-to-win preliminary victories on Thursday and Friday.

One of the most serious challenges to Davenport's lead was Brandon Overton, who ran second from lap 60 until the final restart on lap 80. Overton won Thursday night's even preliminary. After a last-ditch effort on the restart, Overton dropped back and finished just outside the top 10 in 11th.

Pole-sitter Hudson O'Neal fell back early and finished mid pack in 18th.

Friday night's odd feature winner and Hudson's father, Don O'Neal, finished last in the 30-car field after pulling off the track on lap 11.
