Three Nights, Three Winners In Pennsylvania Midget Speedweeks
Three nights of racing are in the books for the Pennsylvania Midget Week, and so far, three different drivers have graced Victory Lane.

Justin Grant won at Susquehanna Speedway in York Haven, PA, on Sunday. Chad Boat took the checkers first at Path Valley Speedway Park in Spring Run, PA, on Monday, and Tanner Thorson was victorious at Lanco's Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway in Newmanstown, PA, one night later.

The focus shifts to Linda's Speedway in Jonestown, PA, for the fourth and final night of the mini-series, and it is anyone's guess as to who will walk away with the trophy on Thursday. The three previous winners would seem to have an advantage since they already know where Victory Lane is located, but since no one has repeated yet, fans might want to watch some of the top five drivers from the first three nights.

There are plenty of them to watch since no one repeated in the top five during the first two nights at Susquehanna and Path Valley. By the time the series rolled into Lanco on Tuesday, several drivers found their rhythm. The best of these was Thorson, who won after finishing second at Susquehanna. He would have swept the top five if not for contact while battling for the lead at Path Valley with Tyler Courtney.

Based on his last two performances, Courtney might be the man to beat Thursday night at Linda's. He got off to a bad start with a 15th-place finish in night one, but rebounded nicely with a second at Path Valley after getting passed by Boat late in the going. He was third at Lanco. As a result of these two runs, he has more momentum than anyone else in the field.

Brady Bacon is another driver to watch closely this week. Even though his overall numbers have not been impressive in three nights of action, he is trending in the right direction. Bacon finished 16th at Susquehanna, ninth at Path Valley, and was runner-up to Thorson at Lanco.

If one tosses out Path Valley, Spencer Bayston and Shane Golobic rise to the top.

Bayston's third-place finish in night one and fourth in night three proves he can get to the front. Golobic finished one spot behind him in both races, but that also gives him two top fives in three events, which is equal to anyone else in the field.
