Week In Sprints: Sheldon Haudenschild Makes Most Of Opportunity
The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series wanted to run this past week. Mother Nature disagreed.

Rain washed out the Bull Ring Outlaw Blitz at Riverside Speedway in West Memphis, AR, and the Spring Classic at Federated Auto Parts Raceway in Pevely, MO.

The Spring Classic was canceled and will not be rescheduled

The Bull Ring Outlaw Blitz will give it another try Wednesday, May 3, since the World of Outlaws series needs to stay in the area for two nights of racing at the State Fair Motor Speedway in Sedalia, MO, on May 5 and at 81 Speedway in Park City, KS, on May 6.

The weekend off gave Sheldon Haudenschild a chance to race on his hometown track of Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, OH. He turned that opportunity into a $5,000 payday and, better still, had the honor of beating his father, Jac.
