The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series held Monday night's makeup Winter Nationals on Thursday at East Bay Raceway Park, the third-mile oval in its final season of operations.

Brandon Sheppard bucked the slow start to the 2024 season and stormed from the ninth-starting spot to win the $5,000 main event. Brian Shirley finished second and led four laps (circuits 15-17 and 19).

Third-finishing Devin Moran led 12 laps of his own. Pole-starting Garrett Smith led the opening two laps but slowed out of the seventh position midway through the running with a flat tire.
